Ekblad Joins BAUER

BAUER is proud to announced that top-ranked draft prospect Aaron Ekblad is joining the BAUER roster of athletes. Ekblad, a native of Belle River, Ontario, spent the last three seasons playing in the Ontario Hockey League with the Barrie Colts. As a dynamic, two-way defenseman with the Colts, Ekblad notched 53 points in 58 games and earned a plus-nine rating during the 2013-14 season.

Kings Complete Historic Comeback

Congratulations to the LA Kings on completing the historic comeback and winning Game 7! Mike Richards becomes the first player in NHL history to be on a team down 0-3 and win the series twice!

Lundqvist, Rangers win Game 7!

The New York Rangers advanced to the second round of the playoffs after beating the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in Game 7. Henrik Lundqvist made 26 saves and picked up the win. The Rangers will now face the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Gallagher Named Calder Finalist

Congratulations to Canadiens' rookie Brendan Gallagher on being named a finalist for the Calder Trophy, given to the NHL's top rookie. Gallagher had 15 goals and 13 assists in the regular season.

Ovechkin wins Rocket Richard

Congratulations to Alex Ovechkin on winning the Rocket Richard Trophy as the league's leading goal scorer. Ovechkin had 32 goals this season and is the first player in NHL history to win the award three times.

Ovechkin Named Finalist for Hart and Lindsay

Congratulations to Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals on being nominated for the Hart Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award. The Hart Trophy is given out to the league MVP and the Lindsay Award is given out each year to the most outstanding player in the NHL. Ovechkin had a league high 32 goals this season and 56 points. In his final 29 games, Ovechkin had 22 goals and 41 points, and helped the Capitals go 20-7-2 during that span.

Kane Named Lady Byng Finalist

Congratulations to Patrick Kane on being named a finalist for the 2013 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy! The trophy is awarded to the player that 'exhibits the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability'. Kane had 23 goals, 32 assists and a team high 55 assists. He also had just eight penalty minutes this season despite averaging 20:03 of ice time per game.
