Kane Nominated For Lady Byng
Congratulations to Patrick Kane on being named a finalist for the 2013 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy!
The Lady Byng Trophy is awarded to the player that 'exhibits the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability'.
Kane had 23 goals, 32 assists and a team high 55 assists. He also had just eight penalty minutes this season despite averaging 20:03 of ice time per game.

Toews Named A Selke Finalist
Congratulations to Jonathan Toews on being named a finalist for the 2013 Selke Trophy! The Selke Trophy is awarded to the NHL's top defensive forward as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association.
Toews had 23 goals, 25 assists and 48 points this season. He also finished the season tied for the league lead with 56 takeaways and had a +28 rating.

Ovechkin Nominated For Hart Trophy & Lindsay Award
Congratulations to Alex Ovechkin on being named a finalist for the Hart Trophy and the Ted Lindsay Award.
The Hart Trophy is given out each year to the "player adjudged to be the most valuable to his team."
The Ted Lindsay Award is given out each year to the most outstanding player in the NHL.
Ovechkin had a league high 32 goals this season, along with 24 assists for a team high 56 points.
In his final 29 games, Ovechkin had 22 goals and 41 points, and helped the Capitals go 20-7-2 to reach the postseason.

Lundqvist Named Vezina Finalist
Congratulations to Henrik Lundqvist on being named a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, given to the league's top goaltender!
Lundqvist, who won the award last season, finished the regular season with a league high 24 wins, a 2.05 GAA and a .926 save percentage.
This is the fifth time that Lundqvist has been nominated for the Vezina.

Gallagher Named Calder Finalist
Congratulations to Brendan Gallagher of the Montreal Canadiens on being named one of the finalists for the Calder Trophy, give to the NHL's top rookie.
Gallagher had 15 goals, 13 assists for 28 points this season.
