i purchased $500 skates for my son a few months ago. he kept on complaining about his heals and how they were hurting him. last week, as i was getting the skates sharpened, i asked if he could check out my son's blades. i was really suprised to hear that both blades are warped on these X50 Bauer skates i paid so much money on. when i went into Hockey Life today to get my son's skates sharpened I asked about whether or not there was something going on with these X50's and he commented that "yes" Bauer is aware of a few skates which went out were in deed wrapped. Question, when the stores rec'd these skates why were they not checked at store level if there was indeed a "recall" on them? instead, i made my son suffer with his feet for weeks. i'm taking these back and i know they have a one year warranty, but Bauer should do something extra for me, like a "free" Bauer X60 senior stick I also purchased for one of my sons. i have two children who are active in "hockey" and I purchase a lot of Bauer product throughout the years and have been since my kids were very young. anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.

We purchased a Nike Baeur Junior Small chest protector (model #1027660) to discover the neck opening does not fit over our son's head. We asked others to try it on and they experienced the same problem. Our 4 year old can't fit it over his head either. Our oldest is on the low end of the suggested height and chest ranges. Wondering if other parents experienced this. Unfortunately we removed the tags and put his two initials on an interior tag prior to actually trying it on. We did not think we would encounter this problem. Yes, we should have tried it but at the same time no one we know seems to fit in the neck opening.

Hi,
I would like to do a science fair project on the evolution of hockey and the safety of the sport. I would like to talk about Bauer equipment because I always used Bauer from when I first started skating. Who can I talk to to get more help with information?
