We spent $2400 on the latest equipment RX10 limited edition and after only 8 months, the leg pads have seems that are separating. The local Bauer rep said the pads are out of warranty - you have to pay. It looks like that's the last time we'll ever Bauer equipment. I'll do my best to make sure every goalie family we know knows how Bauer decided to stand behind their equipment. This is a design flaw Bauer does not want to admit. Only nine months on their top of the line pad - give me a break. Let's see if they read their blog and contact me with any assistance other than turning their back.

I just purchased two Bauer APX sticks for my son. The blade on one stick split after only three games and the blade on the second stick split after only two games. I find it somewhat troubling to have the same thing happen to both sticks in such a short amount of time. It's still under warranty, but unfortunately, it has to be replaced with the same poor quality stick; no refunds.

Ever since you bought mission the skates are very generic, not only do they look like cheap plastic skates, they are cheap plastic skates, the last year that mission skates were of high quality was 2009, I still have my "real mission commanders" which are the best skate the real mission company ever made period, I'm sorry but I can't buy your new immitation mission skates, they are too cheap in quality to spend the money on!

Anyone know how the hockey skate was invented? There are lots of stories about how the figure skate was invented, but nothing online about hockey skates.
