BAUER OD1N is the most revolutionary line of equipment ever introduced to the sport of hockey. The BAUER OD1N product line includes a re-imagined hockey skate, a fully personalized protective body suit and an ultra lightweight, customized goal pad constructed with materials never before used in hockey

WHY WAS BAUER OD1N CREATED?

BAUER OD1N was developed to create hockey equipment that provides a significant on-ice advantage that can be scientifically proven. You guys didn't really answer the question about when this stuff would be available for purchase for the general public. I don't want to spend $700 on skates if the Od1n's are going to be out Q2 2014...know what I mean?

Why the heck won't you answer the question about when the ODIN line will be available. You promote it...are you going to release it? IT's been asked by your customers 3 different ways here. Is it that you want your customers to spend $700 on skates hoping they will drop another $700 or $800 6 months later? Answer the question!!

These most likely will never be released to the public. A Bauer rep told me the skates cost almost $3000 to make, retail would be around $5300 with current mark ups. Also the Od1n protective is custom fit with laser measurements to each individual. Think they are going to do that for the average person at a reasonable price?
