Bauer introduces the first skate with a blade permanently attached to the boot, changing the game of hockey forever.

Bauer opens its new R&D Innovation Center in Blainville, QC , leading to a new chapter – and home – for Bauer’s product advancements.

Bauer designs the first goal pad to utilize an outer foam layer (creating the lightest elite-level pad ever made), and fully customized rebound control tailored to a player’s specific needs.

2017
Bauer introduces a revolutionized skate fitting scanning system – instantly becoming the go-to platform for fitting all skates.

Bauer introduces the “Everything for the Game” tagline and icon to represent its new way forward of shifting hockey culture to stretch beyond the ice. Both are an acknowledgement of Bauer’s pledge to keep pushing hockey’s fundamental evolution of being faster and more creatively driven.
