"My daughter got into (ice) skating just this year and been taking her to skate every weekend. Figure skates for now, but she really wanted roller blades so she can skate more or less anytime. On ice it seems she catches some of the toe-pick rather than using her inside edges. She has only rollerbladed once so far, but loved her roller blades and I have already seen improvement towards developing more of a stride on the ice."
