Starting August 1, players competing in youth, girls, high school or junior hockey within USA Hockey are required to wear neck laceration protectors (NLPs) for all games and practices. In addition, on-ice officials under the age of 18 as well as players in all six disciplines within USA Hockey’s disabled hockey program are also required to wear NLPs.

Featuring DuPont™ Kevlar® cut-resistant fibers, the BAUER NG21 Premium Cut Resistant Neck Guard Collar is designed with soft polyester and para-aramid fibers to remain comfortable and non-intrusive during play.

SIZING:

  • YOUTH (S/M): Fits neck sizes  10"-14"  (26-35 CM)
  • SENIOR (L/XL): Fits neck sizes 13.5"-17"  (34-43 CM)

    The actual neck guard is

    "The actual neck guard is very comfortable to wear on the ice. However, after some use and washes it starts to fall off when playing as the velcro material starts to not hold and you have to buy a new one again. Easily a five star if the velcro was better quality."
